Most Disappointing Bike And Why?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Baldyboy, May 8, 2014.

  1. I love Guzzis I have 2 and only 1 duc (for now)

Comfysofa does have a point the new Cali is a munter! (it seems to have been well received by the press mind)

Really surprised by the antipathy towards Mandello's mk, they are totally different animals though

    The equivalent of the quote

Ducati making mechanics out of riders since 1926

Moto Guzzi just like a Ducati but the bike and rider are 50lbs heavier

  2. Heh - just playful banter - everyone likes their own style of bike. Ive always tended to like newer versions of whatever is out...eg I like the new hypers but theyre too expensive for what they are and im happy with the look of mine...as ive said I still thing the ducati engine looks like it came out of a lawnmower...moreso the aircooled that is....

  3. I'd quite like a Testastretta engine in my lawnmower. Until it came to paying the servicing bill, that is.

  4. V8 engine in a moto guzzi

  5. Moto Guzzi tractor with the engine used in the early models so your Testastretta wouldn't be the first

  6. to be honest i love Guzzi's and would have a MK1 Le mans anyday

  7. For the longest time, this bike was the very definition of "beautiful" to me:

Even years later, I think it's gorgeous ... though times (and my tastes) have changed.

  8. I completely agree, I love them.

  9. 'Sofa, it looks bloody awful to me. Like a fuglystrada with it's knickers down. And those chicken strips need sorting...

  10. Working the strips out - its my work hack. Theres not much left on there anyway. Its definitely a taste thing as everything ive seen picwise that you've put up on most threads is lacking in it!!:)

Seriously I must add that I don't really feel like going over on the hyper with just a pair of draggin jeans on. Plus I cant be arsed to put a full set of racing leathers on to do 10 miles...

RSV4 is scrubbed in though....although not much at the moment as the last time I got jiggy with it was at the last TT...

  13. :) No offence Doodle but everyone else in the world ( 'cept maybe the Sudan , maybe there you get the death sentence for not buying a Harley ) has known this for ever

  14. Oh, I knew that. This was in comparison to "normal" Harley standards :upyeah:

  15. I have a 125 two smoker they are so good but the power range i so hard to work with

  16. Buell XB12S - bought and sold within 3 months. Agricultural, unreliable, uninspiring.

  17. 2012 Panagale standard. Broke down in week 2. Smoke issue. Clutch jammed when hot. Exhaust/ Engine covers too hot. Hated it. Went back to an RSV4 Factory.
