Signed up for the Moto GP website Video Pass today, 100 euro, looks like a good deal to me. Looking forward to the new season now. http://www.motogp.com/
Android set top box link it your internet and TV loads of sport links on there and films Got mine from ebay watched all latest big screen movies b4 there are in cinema here
Just seen ITV4 have won the rights to screen highlights of this year's MotoGP season starting on the 22nd. It will also be on ITV Player.
I have got bt vision but because I cant get infinity, I can only stream the sports channels via the app, which is shite as it keeps stopping and doesn't play. I have been looking at the motogp pass - how does this work? Is it effectively the same as the bt app where the races are streamed to my device or will it giveme access to a channel on my bt vision box so I can watch it on my non smart tv? Starting to panic now as the first race is 2 weeks away and I think its gonna be a cracking season!! Cant cope with just watching highlights!! Any advice gratefully received!
Pappadruid, Have a moan at BT and see if they can improve your download speed. Other alternative would be to take a basic sky package(which will also give you WSBk and BSB) then you will get it through your skybox(free) and you'll also be able to record/pause/rewind.
Question for anyone who knows (rather than start a new thread). Does anyone know if I sign up to BT Infiniti and get the Youview box with it, if I get BT Sport as a proper channel like a Freeview Channel that I can set the box to record when out etc, or is BT Sport literally just embedded as a player like iPlayer and ITV Player etc? I have a YouView box already, not associated with Sky, but I use Eurosport player and I just don't want to watch everything streamed, maybe the faster internet connection would help although I already have 14+Mb, so it's hardly bad! PS... I can't get Sky at my house, otherwise I would already be sorted.
Just got an update for the BT Sport app on the iPad. Full summary of changes: Additional video feeds during live MotoGP races Rider and team profiles Full race schedule Image galleries Looks promising...
Happy with my Moto GP subscription. Been watching past races right back into the 90's. I have just finished watching all last years Gp's. Some really good stuff. Worth the 100 Euro which works out at £85.
Woah, you guys need to know this... My mate in Manchestoh has got BT Sport and has set up a stream so his son can watch the motogp from his house, he can also invite selected guest to watch the stream too, so now I've got motogp
It uses a piece of software called Unreal Streaming. The guest downloads a couple of bits of software and gives the host his IP address, then the host can set up the stream and the guest uses Unreal Streaming's media player to watch. The only downside is that you can only watch what the host is watching, so if his missus decides Corrie is better, you're stuck with it. That's about all I can tell you, being a computer numpty. Maybe someone here with an O-level can sort it out...
I joined BT sport but via existing PLusnet broadband so only £5.99 a month and get as a Sky channel. Downside is don't get to watch it online etc.....
If you've got a skybox and bt infinity you can watch it on via sky. Just go to bt website and follow the links to activate it. Its free with BT Infinity.
Resigned to watching highlights on ITV4 . I see it this way.. BT sport are putting so much on , from testing , to all practise ,garage stuff Moto3 , 2 and Gp . Whoa , how the feck am I going to have the time to watch all that , especially when i factor in WSBK ,BSB , and the TT plus other road races that may be on tv. Then of course the missus wants to watch her soaps . My daughter her stuff. Other series I want to keep up with , social life , Sleep , work . Keep telling myself that and everything is honky dory .
