Bloody unpredicatble this season so far isnt it. Dani top and Taka in the top 3. 93 must be sat there spitting feathers
@Red899, 2 Hondas ? The programme I watched had the top 3 manufacturers after FP1 as KTM, (satellite) Ducati and (satellite) Honda. Andy
Hope he makes a speedy recovery and it doesn't stop him racing, we need kids like this to keep Brits in future racing. Although his parents may prefer him to quit after this.
In even worse news, "Gav" is back on BT comms this afternoon. Worse than Haines and Toseland combined imo.
All change again in FP2, awesome rides by the Aprilia & KTM riders and QP1 tomorrow will be interesting.
Fell asleep after the moto 2 session lol/. Interesting how so many riders on the big bikes managed to improve their times from this morning but only one or two across the whole of m3 and m2 did. Was that because the tempartures dropped or something else?
The temperatures both air & track were a lot higher than this morning, closer to what they expect for both races, which suits both the Aprilias and KTMs. Fabio struggled with front tyre grip apparently and Jorge Martin lost a lot of time too. Bezzeci's engine blew and Fabio struggled all session. So some big players in QP1 tomorrow.
This is very bad news. He is super talented and a big hope for us Brits to root for. Pray to whatever god/thing you can he fully recovers.
That was some qualifying, if you didn’t enjoy that etc… Made up for aleix had a shit start to the season when he probably expected to kick on from last seasons successes. Bastianini retires from the weekend sadly.
Binder fast becoming king of the sprints. Thought it was a great race after the re-start with plenty of aggressive but ultimately safe moves. Mad how Rins has gone from 1st to trailing around at the back in 2 weeks. Great ride by Pedrobot too. I’m not going to jinx al22 in moto 2 lol
If mm93 can make it back for Le Mans he may not even be out of the title fight the way things are going.
Lovely to see the goat on the grid at the start although his (vr46) boy Bezz has had a stinker of a weekend! A blown engine and three offs so far?
That was a rather exciting race. Can’t wait for tomorrow. I’m enjoying MotoGP more than WSBK so far. The most interesting racing in WSBK has been for second and places down the grid. Bautista seems unstoppable once he gets into his rhythm. Lots can change very quickly of course but at this rate it’s hard to see anyone challenging him.
It was interesting (to me at least) to hear the triumph guy talking about the slipped gears the m2 riders were facing at COTA the other week and how it’s a stock transmission to keep costs down and there’s a neutral between first and second gear. (Cota being the only circuit where the riders have a first gear corner.) I mean, who would have thought it
