  1. Ah, the optimism of a fan boy !!!!!!

Joking aside, he will crash again and will miss more rounds, I think HRC will be relieved when he leaves / retires or gets retired by injury.

  2. The BT love in with Jack Miller does get on my tits a bit. He’s a great rider but not a championship winner.

I’ll put money on MM93 being on a KTM before he retires and Fabio on an Aprilia.
Both team need someone who could win a championship.

  3. They quite like DP26 too!

  4. What a race! So nice to see them so loose, spinning the rear and proper scrapping! Especially given that track has created some boring races from time to time

  5. There’s a chance the championship leader could still be on 65 points after 4 rounds.
Definitely not out of it (and even more definitely not a 93 fanboy :joy::upyeah:).

  6. Pretty epic m3 race that. Would like to have seen alonso win it having come through from 17th but Ortola a worthy winner too.

Good to see Scott Ogden finish within sight of the leading group too. Surely another step in the right direction.

  7. Well we finally got a race result, no thanks to race direction. Pathetic decisions against Morbidelli, FQ and Bagnaia.

Well done to AL22, shows what you can achieve if you actually stay on a bike until the end of a race. Heres hoping for a few more like that.

Overall a great weekend, and the crwod looked incredible with or without 46 and 93 on track. Brilliant to see.

  8. Weather looked a damn sight better than Oulton Park BSB does rn too.:joy:

  9. For my tupence worth, I think this was one of best races so far, both Binder & Miller's race starts were fantastic and also great to see great Martin & Pecco duke it out, albeit briefly. But watching Pecco having to fight Binder right to the end was also fantastic. Both Aleix & Maverick have a lot of work to do, the bike is certainly competitive but neither are taking advantage of it when it's needed. I can't wait for the next one in 2 weeks time.

  10. Impeccable Pecco, made his tyres count for those last tight laps with the KTM boys, Ducati have competition from another brand this year which's great for us bum on seats. A respectable ride from DP that made the regular riders look average.

  11. I think the KTM could be right up there, depending on whether it can perform well at cold races. Clearly it works well in the really hot conditions.

a word about Joan Mir though…. His confidence must be at rock bottom. Nobody can say he isn’t trying, he’s riding hard and just constantly crashing. Then Alex Rins bins it also, proving the Honda is far from where it needs to be.

The penalties though are driving me total all mad, the decision by committee on every pass often with a different penalty/decision is just getting beyond a joke. The Fabio 2nd long lap penalty was insane, he was OUTSIDE the box while looking to rejoin safely, he didn’t cut the corner etc

  12. Superb racing, shame about race direction today. They seemed to take every opportunity to interfere. Not good.
    Well done Lowes.
Well done KTM AND Ducati, for letting their racers race. Epic.

  13. Wokery spreading like the rats plague in all departments throughout the globe now.: unamused:

  14. Not sure about the woke factor, but certainly feeling the need to interfere seems to be endemic these days. With race direction I wonder if this is a hangover from the lack of action in the past with a certain MM?

Also with the new sprint race, is this a factor…look at the number of crashes. Look at the number already out and injured. Double the number of races then you double the number of incidents. It seems more important than ever to be near the front of the grid, or in the top six by the second corner.
Whichever, I hope race direction back off and let the racing happen.

  15. From a racers point of view, he needs double the wages, for double the races / risk factor per year in my opinion.

Interference is just anther word for the W word.

  16. Bezzechi, back on top at the Jerez test.

  17. Bollocks decisions. No, they werent wokery either unless you are some kind of paranoid conspiricist wrapped in a tin foil cat suit. Just bad decisions I think based upon those given to MM to give some impression of consistency. Which failed. May as well just ride around in grid order for the entire race. AL rode a good race though and good to see him do so too.

  18. Not the first time by any means that “fast Freddie”has got decisions so spectacularly wrong but seemingly like most rules/officiating organisations these days I’ll wager they won’t even admit to there being a problem yet alone doing something to rectify it.

  19. Marquez 19th out of 27 riders after missing the first 3/4 of the races lol (although that does include Lecuona ffs)

80 points behind the leader with 19 rounds to go. As much as I dislike him, if he’s fit for Le Mans I still would t rule him out of the title race.
