Moto2 - Fenati Black Flagged

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Kirky, Sep 9, 2018.

  1. Makes you wonder, having been in the VR46 academy he must have had so much in the way of training? Not just rider training but athletes have to be the "whole package" these days so PR and even psychology (this is Rossi's school after all). To be booted from VR46 and still to display such uncontrolled aggression is staggering, as he knows that in this age there are cameras everywhere and sensors on every bike that can prove beyond doubt. With all that known to him he is out of control and a danger... and this episode and subsequent sacking won't have improved his disposition. Revocation of his racing licence on safety grounds seems the only reasonable outcome.

With the talent he has and the opportunities he's had available to him it's incredible. The pressure to succeed at any cost has been too high for him? Who knows.

  2. That’s why he was booted out: his antics on and off the track.

Sport is full of people like it though.

  3. Those moves should be left at the Colin Edwards racing ranch:D but if you f##k up many times on the world stage you will be made to walk the plank and rightly so.

Spoiler, he’s apologised for all the good it will do him.

Shame this is what it takes to get coverage on the main news networks.

  7. Great minds, bareback man love?

  8. A funny title that has been the group chat title since a camping GP at Silverstone many years ago. I can assure you that no man love, bareback or protected, has ever taken place amongst our group

  9. There’s no shame in coming out nowadays. It’s the 21st century so stop denying it so strongly.

  10. Just asking for a friend. :p:p

  11. i dont know where he gets it from...perhaps if fenati had just kicked him off there would of been no penalty...

  12. Difficult one. Total dick move, however I know a lot of old school racers and they’ve all said it used to happen a lot back in the day.

Doesn’t make it right. I think a lifetime ban is a bit much but certainly a season ban maybe

  13. Corbyn needs a new Shadow Minister for Sport.

  14. A lot less track side cameras back then so the opportunity for underhand tactics would be easier to get away with, weaker brakes as well so the outcome would be less severe. I`m not saying he shouldn`t be punished, I think a season ban sounds about right.
Didn`t Nicolo Canapa do the same thing a few years ago, he actually brought the other rider down.

  15. Does anybody remember the 1990 Philip Island 125cc race when all the Italians ganged up on Spaan so Capirossi could win?

  16. Think he should go to a court of law, attempted murder. Nothing less, unbelievable...
