  1. Finally a Rossi/Stoner battle that was actually on track and not on a forum!

    Last few laps were awesome

  2. Great race, absolutely gutted for Cal, he was doing so well.

I think Dovi is my new 'baddy' :)

  3. WOW what a race, i shall be watching that again, about time we had a close ish race :upyeah:

  4. The Cal, Dovi & Rossi battle was awesome

  5. Finally, some fire in the belly from Rossi! good to see it!
    :)

  6. Then it all comes crashing to earth and reality takes over! Re JB's interview after the race.

  7. What did he say??

    Missed that!

  8. If that's what rain does for racing I'll buy an umbrella for every race!

All three classes were great today!

  9. just that they know the duke is good in the wet but way off in the dry etc
But he did say that after the 3 day test at mugello this week they hope be up there in the dry at the next race!

One thing is that VR will now be confident.
I didn't think he would beat Stoner again.

  10. Thnks for that, i too was surprised he passed him, i thought Stoner had enough in the bag to keep him behind, but i guess he may have had a problem towards the end of the race?

    Great to watch though

  11. Not sure if you follow twitter... There is a pic of JL VR and CS Rear tyres.. Stoners and Rossi's are totally wrecked. Lorenzo's still looks good enough to do another race.

  12. I don't think that announcing your retirement half way the season fires you up! it does not take much to slip a place in this group...
great ride from Cal and Dovi to!

  13. Yeh watched that on bbc red button, he actually seemed quite down didn't he?

Suppose he's just being a realist but you never know

  14. best quote from Moto3 today :- "Vazquez' race has come to an early end before it's even begun"

Edit as a result of subsequent 'quote of the day'(s) :- it was the 'Murray Walker-esque' nature of above that appealed to me - maybe too subtle though..

  15. JL got ahead and blitzed the pack. was good to see rossi being so smooth .Enjoyed the race

  16. Best quote for me, in the moto go race .... "they have as much grip as a dog on lino" .... Perfect image

  17. No the best quote by far was from De Puniet's team mate: ' In eerrr the dry the bike is very good but in the wet...it's shit' (Yes he said that on BBC!)

  18. He did look down! Maybe he is a realist and is not moved by the italians in the team going bonkers!
JB still has a lot of work to do!

Whats pissed me off is a report in one of the italian news sites which has twisted Stoners words about the race and stating he's leaving
motogp because he has no respect for rossi and is only on pro terms with other racers.
    Load of rollocks imho.

    My quote of the day...
Ducati were asked why rossi is only quick in the wet on the ducati.. "We don't know and that is the problem"

  19. Still was a good race to watch.
