*** MotoGP Season Opener: Qatar (Spoilers) ***

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Imola, Apr 2, 2012.

  1. He was probably wanking Rossi off as Rossi's struggling to do it himself nowadays....amongst other things ;)

  2. Well it was arm pump, no problem with the tyres. I read a tweet of his that said he was happy with the bike and there was good - no problem.

I think the more interesting post race comments came from Vale ... have Ducati done their press release yet?!

  3. How can you Rossi fans say Stoner was whinging this weekend after Rossi's MASSIVE whinge?! Hayden handed him his arse ...

Now i'm still a fan of Rossi's, it's his blind hypocrite fans that I'm commenting on :)

  4. We didn't say Stoner was whingeing, Julian Ryder did, and I reckon he's got more insight than us, don't you..?

  5. You clearly haven't read this thread then ;)

  6. I'd also like to point out that Julian Ryder said on several occasions during yesterday's coverage the he isn't and never has been a motorcycle racer, so I'm not convinced he's got anymore insight than us on the feeling of arm pump tbh

Now he's fat so perhaps when it comes to calorific value of a bacon sandwich I'll listen up :)

  7. No, but he's a lot closer to the motogp circus than us. And what he doesn't know about arm pump he more than makes up for in stomach pump...

  8. Fair point, a pumps a pump :)

  9. I'm not sure I see the correlation between being close to the circus and being an authority on whinging, nor how that relates to the clear comments on this website calling Casey a whinger ... but hey, s'all good - right?!

Now all those Rossi fans calling Casey a whinger have to take a MASSIVE slice of humble pie and get munching - in fact, let's order another 700 more pies! Cripes, talk about Vale having a whinge after getting whipped by his team mate and satellite bikes...

  10. Why? Has Moaner suddenly stopped whingeing? No he hasn't, he has always whinged; like the whingeing he was doing about the compulsory brake guards over the weekend, and complaining the engineers weren't doing enough to reduce chatter on his bike. Every race weekend he's moaning about something - he's a miserable fecker and you know it - Rossi has a moan and you think it's all equal? Not by a long way buddy.

  11. Hahaha, Rossi's been moaning for years! Not that you'd ever admit it ... it's hard to see with only one eye open!

And yes - when you call someone else a moaner and your hero moans and you don't call him a moaner that makes you a hypocrite. Hey, I don't make the rules...

And yes, every rider moans...just pointing out the hypocrisy

  12. I would think Stoner maybe getting some stick from his Honda paymasters for not putting the effort in in pre-season testing and training and getting found out by his team mate and Lorenzo as a result.

  13. So you admit that Stoner is a whinger then..?

  14. Ha! You're like glass....

I said he moans, like every other rider. Are you admitting to being a hypocrite then or are you calling Rossi a moaner? Which one is it? :upyeah:

  15. Yes, I'll admit that Stoner moans...

  16. I'll set em up, you knock em ... err .. thanks for showing us the answer anyway, even if you can't admit it. Thanks for the sport.

Great ride for Cal, he's shown his one lap pace and now he's shown his race potential. Good to see him get one over Dovi too.

Good showing from Bradl too I reckon.

  17. I thought Bautista would do better. Early days though, I suppose. The fascination of the weekend for me was the debut of Romaro Fenati. What a ride!

  18. Yeah, respect the more established riders Romaro. It could be the beginning of something special, what we seen there.

  19. Share the frustration but not the optimism: Rossi's best race lap was the slowest set by any manufacturer rider.

  20. Really? Ryder said he was lapping at the same pace as Lorenzo towards the end of the race. I stand corrected if I'm wrong though.
