This is a new page, I thought who's upset Chris now!!! So I had a look at the previous page and :Wideyed:
Not sure why you borther either if it is such a hassle , but big thanks anyway ,,,, ,,alas too late for me as i am already at work then !!!
wh Waht , and then have to unblock / unignore again to read the posts later , that might be ok if one has the time or inclination to go blocking / ignoring people / things but seems a bit of a hassle to me . Would it not be possible just to have a thread heading. " Moto gp '15 ( eg ). And then everyone who feels so inclined can expand their enthusiasim on that and those who need to can just avoid it . ( Just a thot )
I agree. Once there is actually a result - of an election, an exam, a medical test, a trial, a race - it is simply a fact and (if I am interested in the thing) I want to know the result as soon as possible. Knowing the outcome of something doesn't "spoil" it for me. I don't understand this concept about people wanting to keep themselves in ignorance artificially so they can pretend a fact doesn't exist, and create fake suspense. Seems daft to me.
You won't understand the humour in this then. "Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?" No Hiding Place (TV Episode 1973) - IMDb
Some how it is a little bit more exciting if you don't know the result, a little bit more 'edge of your seat' if the race is close. If you are human it is human nature
An election or exam is nothing like a sporting event. The build up, anticipation, too and fro swings during the event. Knowing the outcome takes away all of that. 'Ha looks close but Rossi wins anyway' Guessing the first thing you guys do is read the last page of a book or read a film review which gives away the ending too :Banghead:
nothing whatsoever to do with the hassle TT - if you hadn't learnt already my tenacity is 2nd to none if the cause is worthy, no - had a feeling you still wouldn't believe me.. and you know - I don't even need an apology these days. irdmadtm
