  2. Decent moto 3 race as always. 14 wins in a season for alonso is just bonkers.
Be interesting to see where he fares in the m2 test next Thursday.

Flakey jakey crashing a few corners into lap one after trying to make up for his daft lunge at t1.

Where have I heard that before?
MVDS must be suckers for punishment.

  3. Silly boy Jake.

With 5 to go it’s been a dream for JM sat on his own in 3rd.

  4. Bravo Jorge.

  5. Well done Jorge so well deserved.
10 points the final gap, or one Malaysian sprint race.

  6. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife and the sense of relief was palpable. JM on the day was a hugely popular champion. Special mention for Aleix, a great shot gun ride ;) Andy

  7. Final race of the season not exactly exciting up front, more of a worry that JM could keep out of trouble.
The best of the best this year all on the podium.
Bagnaia showed his quality this weekend, on and off the bike. Kudos.
Big congratulations again to Martin, pleased he had a podium finish to go with the title that he has worked so hard for. :upyeah:

  8. I dont think i realised that Aleix had supported JM financially as well as track side throughout his career.
MGP took over my love of footy 5 years ago and more but bloody hell you dont have to keep rubbing it in, what a sport and what validation for Aleix in his final race as a full time rider, glorious!
Brilliant interview with Gino Borsoi Suzi and Fabio Q in the after show too if you havent seen it yet.

  9. Will MM be on a red bike on Tuesday’s test day? Or is it next year he switches?

    Cue Jaws theme… :imp:

  10. He’s testing the 24 and 25 bike.

  11. Moto GP is a fantastic sport in my opinion . Considering the competitiveness, it remains very respectful, and the generosity and humble character of its stars is head and shoulders above so many other sports. The whole package is a joy to behold. OK some of the racing can at times be a bit bland ,but even with that I think the family type atmosphere of it overcomes that and it’s a weekend sanctuary I really miss during the winter months.
Jorge is such a well deserved Champion for 24 ,and how he has got to where he is a rags to riches story. Brilliant.

Roll on Tuesday for the test ,and can’t wait to get a glimpse of the riders swapping teams and bikes preparing for another marathon season. Love it.

  12. Chuffed for Jorge Martin, Bagnaia looked disappointed (naturally) but was a real gentleman in losing the World Championship. Testing on Tuesday is on TNT sport through Discovery + from 08:45. Always interesting to see riders in new leathers and on different bikes.

  13. I hope they play Flight of the Valkyrie when MM93 arrives in the test paddock wearing his Ducati Team leathers.

  14. That’s another season wrapped up.

A big black hole at weekends now til BSB/WSB/MGP starts again.

  15. Big respect to Suzi, she never comes across as self important or conceited playing the ‘do you know who I am’? card. If she gets moved on the grid she complies demurely. Her constant clipboard companion makes me smile though.

  16. 100% she’s brilliant and you can tell the respect she’s earnt over the years in “the paddock”

  17. Great to see there was no skulduggery over the final weekend. Jorge Martin deserved the Championship, well done to him and the Pramac team.

Bagnaia did amazingly on the Sundays but obviously needs to up his game on Saturdays. MM gave it an interesting slant too, next year will be interesting.

    Roll on!

  18. Along with the No 1 plate - will Jorge Martin be taking to Aprilia that lovely girl, with the frizzy hair that sometimes holds the brolly ? she's lovely :D

Well done Jorge, but I would rather Pecco had won it....

  19. Pecco has bagged some loyalty points for this time next year with those kind words spoken for Jorge.!
