Mugello Trackday August 2021

I do also hope it improves. I was booked for Mugello last year.

So who is at Mugello

I was just wondering, if anybody actually went on this Mugello Trackday event ??

I know bike pickup was last Sunday and with the 5 days isolation , you'd have had to fly out on the Sunday to be able to get on track today !!!

Unless you arranged for somebody else to drop of your bike/gear an d flown out before etc ..

I was booked but cancelled due to the 5 day isolation expense etc ..

 

I went.

Flew Sunday before, assuming Italian quarantine would be a non-event.... was right, so had a blast driving around Tuscany where the mountain roads were built for bikes.

John Taylor drove the truck out for about 30 of us, down from 100.

Then four days of blistering heat on a very uncrowded track.

Sitting at Pisa airport waiting for flight back.

Probably go when it is cooler next time.

If I'd ignored the isolation rules and just gone out there , knowing my luck id have been stuck in the quarantine hotel from hell...
