Multi Protection

  1. Hi Simon, Rob sells the guards on eBay and he currently has a number for sale. You'll find the listing under eBay No: 300819107189. Hopefully what you're looking for. As far as the guard goes, it's a real quality piece of kit that does an excellent job.

    All the best, Mark

  2. Well it hit a wall and so did I, forks bent frame probably also, the entire front end was destroyed as you can imagine, the tank and sides too a lot of the force but as I said the frame sliders won't get anywhere near the ground likewise the wheel spindles, the pegs and bars kept the bike off the ground. I'd be tempted to protect the exhaust and swingarm over anything else

  3. Hi Freak,

I suppose it comes down to the type of accident and an awful lot of different factors that can be involved. I see what you're saying and wouldn't disagree on your comment about the exhaust and swingarm - at the end of the day you've had the misfortune to experience an accident on a Mutley whereas I haven't? That said, I can only go from my experience which led me to fitting the other bits of protective equipment.

Hopefully neither of us will be put in a position to confirm what actually works (or doesn't) again. :frown:

    All the best, Mark

  4. I just fitted some Barkbusters in case i dropped it , I thought if i have an off at speed the bike will be fucked anyway!

  5. I have no engine bars and no other protection. I like the lightness and don't wish to add weight (or cost). The way I see it I will make an insurance claim if I drop it and do significantly more damage than my £300 excess. Isn't that what insurance is for?

  6. My thoughts exactly ;)
