They absolutely will. I believe the Bayliss numbered Panigale has passed 5000 now. At least I got my money back when I chopped it in
Not sure how you come to that conclusion, the V4RS and the V4S have nothing in common apart from maybe the seat. There’s no altruism in business, the bottom line is profit Andy
Seat, tank, clocks, mirrors, most of the electronics and for every different part you remove from the V4S and replace there is a cost saving as well the added value of the replacement part. Is the cost of the RS wheels double that of the S? I doubt it and the wheels are probably from another bike in the Ducati range anyway.
That's hardly new, the orginal Multistrada wheels are completely interchangable with the 848, 1098, 1198 they all use the same size nut and are all the same dimensions. So are most of the braking components. The PP and RS both have the forged wheels, the S has cast and that loss of weight does make a difference you can notice (for about 5 minutes). I'm sure the new stripe of red was very expensive and hand painted by a master.
