I took a 950 for a test ride yesterday. Very impressed, the engine has plenty of power for me but a bit of vibration through the bars above 70. The bike was comfortable although the seat is quite wide which means that I felt as though it could do with being higher when sitting on the bike, but if it was I wouldn't be able to reach the floor. I soon got used to this though. The screen was excellent for me, with no buffeting at motoway speeds. The handling was very good on all surfaces. The only downside for me was the amount of fork dive, the rear felt OK but Getting back on my Triumph tiger 800 was like a sports bike in comparison. The 950 looks great and has some nice touches without being loaded with unecesary (IMO) electronic gizmos. I came away thinking that it was a great bike, but I would rather keep what I have for the time being.
