Another quick afternoon ride out to the Pingu mountain area from downtown Beijing, awesome blast down the expressway to get to the great mountain roads around Pingu....
Just bought a full 70mm Termi system think that's Sundays job , I will be selling the stubby temi and I also have front de cat pipe and a decibel eater for sale if anymore wants to make a sensible offer before I eBay them,
Here is my toy I got rid if to buy the multi ,I loved this bike did a few track days on it this was taken a Oulton Park, but sadly when I took it in for a service they kindly loaned me a Multistrada I didn't want to give it back so I ordered one and as you can see I don't do standard so I had most of this done before I took delivery .then took her home to Italy to watch Rossi in Mugello ,easiest ride I have ever done
Just a couple of pictures from the weekend ride -> Susten - Grimsel - Furka pass. Weather was great but still very cold at the top of the Grimsel. It actually snowed Friday night and Saturday morning the Furka pass was closed! Second picture you can see a couple of guys towards on the left, they had their snowboards out.
Not an exotic location, but a nice ride to the Elan Valley today. Weather was a bit nippy until I got back over the Severn Bridge! Also my first trip with panniers. How practical. Somewhere to put my camera and sandwiches
I was out all day yesterday on the bike from 06:00 .....started off being a bit cold....by late afternoon 'betty swollocks' and then on the way home in the evening cold again!
Love the Elan Valley, many a happy hour spent there running and walking over Tyn Y Pant which is the hill on the right in your first photograph. Must take my Mutley up there very soon.
Talking about my flat rear? Well, Rolling back to Beijing, my second puncture right on the expressway, must have driven over a lane divider reflector or reflector bolt mounted into the asphalt as the hole was a perfect round, shaped like a bullet hole.Had to use two sticky ropes to seal the puncture perfectly and secure. Now the real danger was standing in the right lane (emergency lane), in China crazy drivers use the emergency lane as a regular driving lane all the time..... TIC = This Is China!
....nice pair! I'd have tried to be more helpful if I'd known it was actually your Island! Nice.....congrats...and good weather forcast for the next couple of weeks, plenty of time to get 600 miles on her and the first service out the way - you're smile will be wider still then and just wait 'till you get past the magic 1000 mile mark  So...there's the lifeguard post.....where's the bikini babes on the beach shots?! Good run yesterday.... https://www.fuelly.com/driver/andyw/multistrada-1200s
