V nice, good to see Shoei doing some glossy paint finishes that are not race rep styles. I think it makes for a more premium look which is what they are.
I’ve had Shoei helmets for years and they’re subtle but definitely premium. This colour scheme really goes with my Mutley.
I've been an Arai man for years until I bought my first Shoei, I'm a convert now but bloody hell their expensive. Nice helmet by the way @Lord Farquaad
Last years colours (last one in the shop), £300. Thus far I am very happy, it’s quiet, comfy and has great visibility.
166 miles of Ducati Therapy this Morning around North Wales. Sub zero temperatures but dry roads. Careful in most places, exuberant in a few choice spots. The Mutley was faultless, fast, smooth and comfy.
It was bloody freezing. Gortex socks were a godsend. The Luke warm grips helped but it reminded me how pants they are when it’s properly cold. I’m lucky enough to be on the good roads within 30min of leaving Home. I expected to see a few bikes out, but didn’t see a sausage.
Lol It’s made me think about tyres again. Mine will need new rubber this spring. The Scorpion Trail IIs coped fine today. In fact I’ve commuted all winter with no issue. I’d debated Roadtec 01s, Pilot Road 5s etc But I’m all honest a set of Angel GTs (or even Scorpion IIs) will do.
not sure on tyres for your bike but i`ll sure someone will come along and read this and tell you what they have on theirs
As for the photography (back on topic), my iPhone 7 seems to take good pictures. It struggles with large variations in background/foreground light, but for a quick “jump off the bike for a snap” jobby it’s good.
It’s “Tomorrow’s World” for sure. Being able to take good pictures and upload them to the internet for all to see, whilst stood in deepest Wales in a mountain pass.....voodoo I tell you! Voodoo!!!!
Great pics @Lord Farquaad but why didn't tell that bloke with the bike to piss off Is that the Pondarosa ? Your a better man than I, I wouldn't be able to sleep thinking of that road salt eating my bike away
Yes I started off with a cup of tea at the Ponderosa. I was the only one there..... ACF50, FS365, all sorts of lubes and weekly washes keep the dreaded roadsalt from eating my Mutley.
First proper 360 Degree video on my new MTS 1260 PP...the camera is smart enough to measure how long the front wheel is airborne, look at 0:55 as the front wheel just came up over the hump-back bridge.
