  2. Try Metzeler M9RR. Fantastic tyres, got them on my Multistrada albeit the V2. Great grip, turn in easily and good mileage.

Unless of course you want a rain tyre then you’ll need the Metzeler 01.

  3. IMG_0876.JPG re.jpg I see the same issue I had with with the PR5 , you can already see the problem . Same with all the range , great wet tyre but not a fast tyre , the PR5 was a sub 1500 mile touring tyre , great grip but wore too fast. That was 1400 miles . Managed to get back to the lorry on a wish. First pic , second day .....I was starting to get worried and I was on a GS 1250 ..

  4. What mileage have you got out of interest as considered these for the Spain trip , but felt they would not do over 2000 miles and that was being hopefull , will fit a set but the risk of a shorted trip was not wanted. Stuck with the CTA3 as they can be abused for 2500 and still ride well ... just.

  5. Does seem there is a general consensus that the Road 6 is not the best match to the V4.
    Anyone tried Dunlop Roadsmart 4s?

In terms of tyres tested and recommended by the manufacturers for the V4, the choice is limited.

  7. Hi Sam
What sort of mileage did you get out of the M9RR?

Did they have sig. stepping at edges when worn?
    Thanks
    Arif.
