  1. Wales is the last place I'd take my bike, because a) too many police, and b) I'm an idiot and would keep forgetting there's too many police!

  2. is it 3pm yet?

  3. North and south yes, I avoid those areas, mid wales is still pretty good but it has become worse within the last 3 years, you've just got to know where, and where not, to go.

  4. Wherever bikes go in numbers then the police will be out. Doesn’t matter where that is, it’s not just Wales.

Imho Wales and it’s borders with England is the best place for riding bikes in the UK, short of riding all the way to Scotland.

All that said I’m too old to be getting up at silly o’clock now.

  5. There aren’t many. Traffic has increased dramatically since covid.

  6. I thought Wales was 20mph. Don’t need 220hp for there:bucktooth:
Get to the Isle of Man. Now that’s fun :imp:

  7. IOM is only fun when it’s not packed with bikes. Even then plod is about looking for the usual idiots.

  8. No fixed speed cameras, one mobile camera that’s only ever set up in 30 zones and a National speed limit of 1gazillion miles per hour. My favorite playground.
£125 return ferry, cheap accommodation, great pubs, great restaurants. Just too much rain.
And 3 weeks ago I passed plod on the way down to Creg at 138mph. No problem.
And only full of bikes for 5 weeks a year ……..

  11. It’s basically a cash grab. If you want it full power and fully kitted out it’s going to be a ball hair from £40k. I don’t get how they think a dry clutch is good for a touring bike.

  14. Also numbered doesn’t mean much as they will make them until they run out of parts or buyers.

  17. Oh dear……PP is around 31k euro here. V4rs ?

  18. I don't dislike it, how could I?

    But a c£10k swap?

    No chance!

I do like the tail section though and wonder if it will retro-fit?
