I'm thinking the same. Looking at the tail section, it looks like it'll fit.

The good thing is that most things would swap from my PP, so it would just be the cost of the bike. Interesting that the Akra system is no longer on the configurator, yet they mention it in the video.

 

I'm running sans guards.

 

Yes. Very nice, but at £32k before any additions it’s a bit steep.
Possibly what the PP should always have been ?

Presume it’s the Audi connection, must admit I wondered why RS, bit naff considering Speed Triple RS, MV Augusta, BMW 1250 RS, Energica RS

 

Yes but theres no performance exhaust available for it yet, no one yet can confirm the current full akra system is suitable.

I can always put the standard PP tail back on if I need the top box for touring

 

Looking on the bright side, my PP is now looking like a bit of a bargain!

 

I saw that it was missing in the configurator. But they called it out in text on the video. 195 with exhaust and oil. So there is an upgraded version. Probably the same Akra for the PP

 

I wouldn’t guarantee that the PP exhaust will fit as the RS has a Panigale cylinder head. It might but it’s not a certainty.

 

Even if it does fit theres no map currently available for it.

 

It will be even thirstier on fuel too.

They mentioned shorter gearing plus the higher revs and a higher tune isn’t going to run on less fuel.

 

Give it time. Ducati will always find a way of milking more money out of us !

 

plenty of time for Akra. I was told March/April delivery for the RS and I was first on dealers list. not that its probably relevant any more
