  1. That was a surprisingly good turn out considering the forecast!

Good to see you Gazdoc, Eddie, AirconTechnical, Pete1950, Coman, Steveb123. Hope you win at the races Eddie!

The dry weather held out until 2pm when I was already home so that was a great result :upyeah: I'll have to have a look at the video I took to see if anything is worth posting.

    Maybe another run in September?

  2. Oh the irony.......passed on your rideout Ian 'cos of the weather forecast - weather looked much better for Sunday.......but I got several proper soakings and the bike's filthy!

  3. Andy, You got so close!!! better luck next time :upyeah:

AndyW, You must keep the faith next time.....at least it looked OK at Lands End

I've been playing around with the actioncam video and tried a number of different editors and they all have one issue or another (on my PC!) my closest attempt has frozen when trying to upload to Youtube......

  4. I might as well have gone on the ride because at 4pm I set off from Bedford to go to a power station in Widnes and i've not gone home yet

Admittedly I'd sorted out the job I came up here for but I was on site until 7am on Sunday so there wasn't much point in driving home then back up for 8am on Monday.

  5. My 1st video so room for improvement! Would have been interesting to have the camera pointing behind.........

Anyone with experience on helmet mounted cameras and what's the best editing software?

  6. Yes a few Mutleys in the footage would have been good lol...............forward and rearward facing cameras?! (or agree at one of the stop offs that you'll head of last and make your way back to the lead?).
Sorry no advice on cameras or editing.

AndyB......bloody hell, nice to be needed but not that much! lol.......but think of the OT/bonus payment! :D

  7. I'm right behind you, Kirky.

  8. If you do rear facing, and lead out. Less issue with speedo and number plates..

  10. whens the next meet ?

  11. Maybe Sept. 21st or 28th?

  12. Sept 21st ok for me. Can't do 28.

  13. I may be up for a little run out

  14. Either would be good.

  15. I haven't been able to make the last runs, but can do the 28th.

  16. A big thanks to Paul for the last run.

Unfortunately I can't do either the 21st as I'll be in on the way down to the Alps or the 28th as I'll be in Munich.

  17. +1

  18. OK will plan for the 28th and if it works out we can combine with the MCN gathering (if it is at OYB Aylesbury and on that day).

I'll put a provisional post up early September to see who's interested.
