Dealer support would be my only concern. Moto GB the UK disti AKA KJM are as good as over the road from where I work but I cant see a workshop or parts counter lol Other than that they are one sexy MoFo of a machine.
MotoGB have been out of the MV thing for about 4 months now, and it's a very good thing. MV are modelling more like Ducati in the way they organise spares and back-up centrally in Europe with local 'MV UK' type office. There are a couple of stunning dealers out there, the one at Silverstone for example where I know for a fact they will go as far as pulling apart there demo bike to take a part to get a customer up and running in the extreme case and just bend over backwards for you. It's on the up for MV, providing they don't get too silly and start releasing too many models like they have done with the F4 (IMHO) there is also big rumblings on some other forums from the American side where dealers were discounting 675's because the sales were non existent as soon as the 800 got released. That's not such an issue here I don't think and was due to poor pricing over there. My local dealer was an MV dealer for a year, I still haven't seen one in the flesh or sat on one, that's the sort of thing MV need to sort out. Getting bikes into showrooms for customers to go and see.
And another thing......it shouldn't read 'motorcycle art' under the logo on the paperwork, it should say 'motorcycle porn'. There's one on ebay now for 7K or best offer, used 5 times in the dry. Someone's gonna get a friggin bargain.
That's a bargain. If I'd not just spent everything on a house I'd be having that for 7k. I'm undecided between a f3 or 899 but at that price it would make my mind up. My 848 is staying so it would be a nice alternative
