  1. I bought some of these...... they are nice grips....

  2. Did your ones come open ended or did you have to cut them??

  3. must be in the eye of the beholder, not for me im afraid, i think they got the standard ones so right :upyeah:

  4. I thought everyone did it this way.

  5. No, Just buy it now, then specified in the "message to sender" option when checking out, 899 Panigale, open ended version. (it does specify in the description these are open ends, so i just wanted to confirm with them.

  6. Liam, stupid question..... do you have to remove the stock grips to fit them or do they fit over the top? If you do have to remove the originals, how easy is it?

  7. I just cut them off with a scalpel, they are incredibly thin, so they cut very easily so be aware about scoring the bar and on the throttle side the throttle housing, you then spray lots of hairspray on the inside of the new grips and they will just slide on, turn them so they are straight and sit ok and in the correct position, wait an hour or so and the hairspray will dissolve and evaporate and the new grips will be stuck strong.

  8. Thanks mate, I think I'll invest in a pair.

  9. If you haven't got an airline, use a thin screwdriver or knitting needle. Push it between the grip and bar and spray some WD40 into the cavity made. Then slide the screwdiver/needle round the inside of the grip and it is then easy to pull off. No knives or danger of scratching and you still have intact grips. Hairspray method for refitting is perfect.
