  2. Way nice! That's a fine one with really low mileage. Original owner? Any other background info to share to all of us that wish we looked for one of those.

  3. BTW, I've got a set of those Arrows on my 916/996, with the Arrow chip that came with 'em. Very nice performance and the sound is the best!

  4. Thanks
It’s had 3 owners before myself.
Apparently it was in someone’s front room for about 5 years before previous owner.
It’s had a lot of services by the looks of the receipts I have with it.
A lot was done to it two years ago by previous owner.
It’s totally standard but I do intend to do a few little mods to it if I’m honest.

  5. I don’t have the arrow chip with my set unfortunately.

  6. Lovely bike.

Once you have got the suspension dialled in, you don’t need much more.

  7. Done a bit of fettling today.
Removed unwanted tarting up spray off discs and calipers.
Took a while bit I think it looks better.

  10. Sounds good just waiting for the insurance to be sorted then I can go out and buy one. On a positive note the garage is now tidy haha

  11. Don’t worry about the chip. 998’s don’t have them. They’re controlled by an ECU next to the battery.

  12. :upyeah:
If it did need tweaking? How is that done?
    Cheers:upyeah:

  13. It would need a re map, mate. There’s a few companies who can do it, JHP, Lougi Moto...

  14. Fitted these today.
They give the rads cleaner lines I think.

  15. It does. But be aware that the oil cooler rad doesn’t scrub the cooler. You wouldn’t be the first that the cooler would start to leak after a while....

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  16. Cheers for info
The edges on the guards are rubber coated so hopefully may protect oil cooler from rub wear

  17. Bought this touch up paint, pretty good match for the 998

  18. Do you need to apply a lacquer on the silver frames as well? The bronze gold frames which predated those have a matt lacquer applied.

  19. They’ve provided a lacquer in pack, but I’m going to see how it looks without first.
    I’ll let you know:upyeah:
