The solution to the slippery pegs is to fit those attached to the pillion pegs. They're exactly the same as fitted to the 959, v2, v4 etc etc. Regarding the suspension, I sent my standard shock and forks to MCT. The shock revalve in particular was excellent and great value for money. I've had my white 899 for 10 months now, and it's been on track, to the IoM and on bumpy backroads. I think it's perfect.
