  3. Not that I am aware but if you use them enough you can get a discount certainly on larger parts.
     
  4. They do give a discount if you ask, but appears to be called something different each time.

    I think last time it was for older bikes, and something to do with brand loyalty, but I just took it as sales Bollocks because they are making so much money on the spares in the first place.

    Stein Dinse standard prices are competitive, and the parts always arrive within a couple of days.
    Their exploded diagrams are really useful to find what you want.

    Only guessing but more likely to be rear playing up if staying on. The original rear switch has an internal compression spring which can corrode preventing it's function.

    if you follow the switch to the connector (as above) and disconnect then you hopefully can determine whether front or back is the culprit unless it's another factor like a short-circuit instead.

  7. depending on your success with main dealers/prices, it looks like Wemoto have both front and back switches if needed. (front shown below)

  8. If you get them off in one piece, spend 5 minutes with some WD40, or similar and see if all they need is freeing off, because more often than not, you will be able to revive them.

  10. RS Supplies are a good source and next day delivery for the plunger button switch on the front brake lever. I installed one similar to the one on the right below. The pricing is good and you can get the part number if you part remove from the lever switch. Mind the small nut on the other side of the long screw/bolt when removing.

  12. If you do use one, they come with a 3rd wire that you simply remove. Colour match to the existing. You can reuse the old sleeve also the bullets if removed with care.

  14. I’m not sure if you meant the front switch John? This is definitely not true by far in the majority of times of the rear switch in my opinion, it’s too late for lubrication and another clue will be that the pushrod will be floppy when you “exercise” it. The only other thing that happens to them is seizing by distortion because the body is only made of a form of brass or similar (WLTTE Sev) as most people become aware of when they go to act on the hex incorporated in the body which sadly often makes a mess of the whole body if it’s been on there sometime - i.e. corroded or very tight to move.
