Loved my 1198, but I needed a bike where I could turn the madness off. I owned it 6yrs and had a full 70 and a CJS tune and it was bonkers. Great bikes.
Had a couple of runs out over the past few days and looks like the new regulator has fixed my flickering light and dash out. Also seems more willing to fire up too.
Had a good spirited run on the 1098 yesterday, really enjoyed it. Front wheel lifts even more so on acceleration due to the 14 tooth front sprocket. Thumps out of corners really well. Not tried a sissygale yet though
