Found the sat nav lead if anyone is bothering it's on the right side of bike behind the headstock with a label on stating nav/usb I found this whist looking at a demo version at the dealer
I wasn’t convinced by the go-faster stripes at first but. Oh it’s growing on me... but it’s the only one available at the min from Ducati.. A bit late as it’s fitted,,, but, thoughts on the tank protector?
I think it's too long and needs to be jet black with just a small amount of red - the white spoils it - but you've said as much Why do the dealers not fit them lower? I'm speaking to my dealer tomorrow about the Termi exhaust so hopefully getting that as well now and the performance up map
Agreed... and agreed... no idea why they got it there... is have put it lower too; right at the bottom where contact happens...
Ok so spoke to my dealer who has offered me a great deal on the exhaust actually and getting that now so I should be getting bike delivered in 3 weeks he says
Got my bike back today as it was picked up by the workshop whilst I was on holiday... came back to the wonderful thundering roar of what a Diavel should sound like! I still don’t believe the Termis look as great as they could... but the sound is phenomenal... baffled removed too If the rain ever stops then I’ll ride and hopefully see the transition from standard to Termis +upmap... I’m off to do a sunshine dance...
I bought an Interphone waterproof case for my iPhone and swear by it. The cost is around £50 dependant upon the phone size. I have handlebar mounts on both the Harley and Ducati and have got the dealer to run a data cable under the tank up to the bars. So all good.
Sooo... I finally got out on the bike this weekend after two weeks of waiting since the Termis were fitted... All I can say is... Wow! What a difference! The sound is raw and angry... with a lovely grunt on gear upchange and some nice backfiring on downshifts... but actually not excessive! It's very loud compared to standard even with the baffles in... which do not do a great deal anyway so I took them out again. Power delivery is smoother accross the range and, surprisingly, the power delivery in sport mode is much less "jerky" as discussed in the other thread. More erratic at the high end of the rev range, but the composure at low revs and lower speeds has really surprised me. Overall, I was expecting to be pleased by just the improved sound, however the improved power delivery from the up-map and the changed ride feel has exceeded my expectations. As the workshop owner said, it's how the bike should have been from the factory. My only negative so far, is that the design of the left side end can proves to be a catch/magnet for oil off the chain. I was advised to just use WD40 to clean off, which I did, and it works great, but it is a little annoying....
