  12. What happened here then??

  13. messy divorce, ex wife destroyed my previous life. Being a guy I tried to take everything on and fix it. Heart rate was so high my blood pressure was non existent, effectively stressed myself to the point that my heart stopped and I went in to arrest at work. Luckily they had a Defib and zapped me.

Stress is no joke it would seem.

I can definitely relate to @NoGutsNoGlory - got the t shirt so to speak. Get well soon brother

  14. Not good news. Esp after Rob (Xracer on Ducati ms) died of a heart attack the other day

  15. Fucking hell! :astonished::scream: Hope you came out the other side ok?
Is that like a panic attack when you hyperventilate and breathing/oxygen/heart rate get out of shape?

  16. erm, I guess in a fashion but obviously with a much more severe potential outcome..

it’s actually more common than I thought having spoken to a cardiologist about it.

  19. I only managed to ride for 3 sessions on Monday so not much to report on the changes to the bike but here it is anyway.

The first and second session I rode with the new CRC seat fitted but it was way too high and I felt like I was perched on top of the bike and was pitching over the front in the heavy braking areas.
For the third session I removed the detachable part of the seat and just sat on the plastic base. This was much better and it felt more like the standard riding position although still a bit higher.

The new Hel M/C with Motul 660 and GPfax pads was a great setup and a massive improvement over stock. I significantly reduced my braking markers without even trying too hard as I was bedding the pads in. The downside was I found that the ABS was kicking in even though I was taking it steady and was a fair few seconds off my normal laptimes.

It was only a real problem in those sessions when I was braking for the esses and kept missing the first apex with the front brake pulsing. As my pace increases I think it will be a problem in all the heavy braking corners so it will get bypassed before next season.

I've had some foam delivered to put on the CRC seat base which I think I will be able to live with.
