Definitely worth a call mate. He’s managed to source stuff for me in the past that he doesn’t catalogue
But their flagship bike has looked the same for 15 years, the front brakes have been dodgy for just as long. Did someone mention Duc Birds bin carried around permanently until you buy a Yoshi. And no up/down shifter unless you go for the R. It's 2020, Suzuki! Work around those things, I bet it could be good, tho'.
1) Bollocks, the K5 Gix (brilliant bike for it's day) looks as different from the current Gen as any Jap bike does 15 years down the road; 2) Brakes - conceded - Brembo RCS 19 is a built-in expense of purchase; 3) Yes it is 2020 and I don't know where you get your info from but the Bi-Di QS is OEM on the base and R models (if not then Suzuki UK's website falls foul of false advertising).
Picking her up tomorrow, A friend of mine, ex racing driver and professional detailer (ZV Line) popped in to the dealership today to give her a thorough going over. The paint is popping like mad now! Almost too shiny to ride, I'm very happy
I thought the law was: Ducati. Red. Kawasaki. Green. Yamaha. Yellow. Suzuki. Blue. Triumph. Black. Honda. WGAF?
I didn't have a choice as it was the display model in the shop (last one) with quite a few extras fitted. It will be it's last time on the road tomorrow though and nobody really cares what a trackbike looks like. Do they?
Few bits have turned up for it as well as the master cylinder that’s already fitted. DRBikes has shafted me with the cotton reels which I really hope turn up tomorrow !!!! 6days late ffs and they’ve got no idea where they are.
I've fitted the GB Racing engine protection both sides and I'm just waiting for my M/C to turn up which is due anytime. After tomorrow I will fit the mirror blanks and then it's just the thumb brake to fit.
Thumb brake, ooooh you posh bastard. I've heard the wheelie control is a little... 'on-off' so probably a good shout
