that the cable tie hack works, does not seem to be in doubt, but this discussion of HOW it works is very interesting... i'm not clear why the increased pressure in the system would encourage the bubbles to move upward though, in a closed system there would be no pressure gradient that would cause the bubbles to move in any direction, assuming the hydraulic pressure applied by the MC will have minimal effect on the density of the fluid, but will compress the free air thus increasing its density...the change in relative density (air-fluid) would cause them to move...although i cant figure if the air bubbles would sink or float, assuming the air density changes significantly enough to have any affect at all!
There's too much thinking going on here, it's just some new pads and perhaps a brake bleed.... :tonguewink:
Another thing you can do is fit bleed nipple banjos to the ABS unit. Many a Multi owner did it and it means you can get that last bit of air out (as the ABS unit on the multi is under he seat and quite high). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
