Has anyone else still got a deposit fm down but not been lucky enough to be allocated a bike. I am wondering whether it is best to give up yet? Deposit put down on 5/6 July and was only the second to request one at this particular South West UK dealer...

they do look good. but somehow i am pleased i didn't get one. no idea why. i recon my next bike will be what ever will comeout next year.
Not doing much to mine other than putting on mirrors, Akras, tail tidy, radiator guard and Bike Trac. Could have picked it up this weekend, but I'm away so now getting it Monday (or 5 sleeps as my daughter would say) Will try and take some pictures/videos to do it justice as this bike looks so much better in the flesh.
I would recommend some type of paint protection, best couple of hundred quid you can spend for keeping your bike looking good.Hope weather is kind for you on Monday

Yes they had one in the showroom yesterday at Seastar and does look good. It's basically a wrap, so will also protect that nice shiny red paintwork underneath :thumbsup:.
Got mine yesterday... Goddamn what a beast! (042/500). Got about 50 miles put on yesterday. Plus got the passenger seat (cake removing cover and flanges) and pegs (those were a bitch) on. Putting on the Akra slipons this weekend, I opened up the box yesterday and they due have kind of a goldish tint to it (it is titanium). They are definiely not a silver color... Also has anyone that's gotten their bike found the aluminum block off plates? I haven't found them.
No one has the block off plates yet , Ducati are aware of this and the will follow, how come dealer did not put the Akras on? Remember to take out the baffles befor fitting as the swing arm side side retaining bolt is difficult to access.
As simmytt says, if I had spent that much money I would have expected the dealer to fit the Akras.? Maccaa
Yeah right, this dealer charged me full MSRP for the anniversario and wanted to charge me for installing the passenger footpegs and seat. They also wanted 300 bucks to install the Akras. But they were the only dealer in my state to get this bike.
