Yes managed to collect it today,picked it up in the van as i could not get a lift and the ventureshield was not fully cured,got home safe and unloaded it and went to put it in the garage and thought fuck the ventureshield i'm off out,only managed a quick 30miles but first impressions are all good,felt a lot different to my 899 hard to explain but sat on the bike not in the bike, no idea why.Sounds and looks epic,looking forward to Sunday to get a real feel for the bike as i plan to get a couple of hundred of miles done.But really need to get it run in to give any real feedback and i cant keep going into the garage for a peep.
I agree i got offered one from a dealer and i turned it down they rang me, for me and my bikes i could NOT see the point in letting them take my trousers down again nice bike but you've seen one you have seen them all there will be some very happy chappies with there bikes and I'm sure they will love them
just got my deposit refunded. extremely pleased after my performance in california over the last couple of weeks. VERY happy i didn't get he bike.
Well number 228 is home safe and sound . What a machine, had no idea there would be such a difference compared to the 959. Only covered 40 miles and obviously restricted due to running in, but it scares the shit of me and I love it.
