Seastar by any chance? If I finish work in time I might pop up to Whitwell after work, if not I need to pop over to SS on Saturday so maybe cross your path there, if my guess is correct!

 

Yep collected it from Seastar late yesterday afternoon. Trying not to use it until after I've got the Ventureshield installed on Tuesday next week. The call from my garage is pretty strong though and not sure how many more times I can keep just looking at it!

@simmytt did your dealer say you've got a few more goodies to come for yours, as looks like I'm being sent all the Sports Pack for free, which I originally understood was an extra cost?

 

@DTScooby , I did not get the mirror and number plate bracket blanking plates they are to follow, as far as I know that is all that is outstanding ? I did notice the Sharks fin is carbon that was never mentioned in any of the literature .

 

Well looks like I'm getting carbon ignition cover, number plate and mirror plugs, tail tidy (although already had one put on) , tank pad, black handlebar weights and aluminium tank plug.

 

Looks like your dealer has either got it wrong or giving you a freebe ? , did you get your mirror and plate blanks ?

 

Ducati told him they're sending all those bits at no extra cost and if that's the case then I certainly won't be complaining! No haven't got the blanks yet, not sure anyone has have they?

 

I think they maybe getting mixed up,the bike comes with the racing kit,exhaust and blanking plates,the sports pack is extra but if you get them it will be a good bonus , Ducati wording is a bit confusing on there website but it says the racing kit is included but no mention of the sports pack being included.

Yes about 15 mins away. Drop me a PM if you want to meet up at SS, I'm often down there (having spent far too much money on parts for both my bike and my wife's Monster rebuild). Often head up to Whitwell on a Friday night if the weather is good.

 

So is my idea to sit back and wait for a cancelled order a fools errand?

 

Any have an insight as to when we can get the revised mapping put onto a non anniversary 1299?
