  2. Or a set of softs (or did he just choose not to use them, I missed qualifying)?

  3. Yes absolutely.

The first nine cars to finish were in team pairs (obviously Alonso was not in a pair but thats only because its Stroll & in anycase he DNF'd). In early season -or any- F1 races how often does that happen?

  4. Sadly this year is a 1 horse race for the title, battle on for best runner up it seems.

Good to see Alonso do well - as a Ferrari fan looks like were 4th this year in the standings. So after the things he did in some rubbish Ferrari's mean hes the guy ill support this year driver wise

Other than that, lets hope Perez gives MV a run for his money and is actually allowed to fight for the title at end of the year if hes close enough

  6. I think most of us will.

I said at the weekend that I’ve never seen a car pass another so easily as the RBs do now. With DRS they have a 17mph speed advantage on the straight-that is absolutely indefensible & barring tech failures or a crash, they will almost certainly 1-2 every single race this year. Wow, just Wow!

  7. Hamilton said the same but it’s just an excuse, apparently :sob:

  8. The performance of Mercedes and Ferrari are making RB look better than they are. The fact that Aston are now the #2 team speaks of what a poor job Merc and Ferrari have done.

  9. The way the RB19 speed picks up when the rear wing opens should tell the other teams something about how the RB19 aero is working.

  10. Sir LouLou told the team all about it but they didn't listen to him.

    :p:):joy::grinning:

  11. First thing Hamilton needs to do is beat his teammate as I thought he was the best in the world?

  12. Just for the record I’m not a Hamilton fan I just find it funny people won’t give him the same respect or understanding they give someone like marquez who let’s face it are in very similar positions with regards the hands they’ve been dealt.

And who gives a fuck about your team mate when your cars so shit and you’ve won 7 wc’s. I bet he’s hardly given it a second thought.

All seems a bit daft even if he does dress in clothes you wouldnt wear to bed (which we can definitely agree on).

  13. I do have respect for someone who has done well in his chosen area. But was it because of the car? Probably not the case for marquez and his honda.
If the car is so crap why is his teammate beating him?

  14. I think age and motivation are factors but Sir LouLou certainly has had it easy in the turbo hybrid era. I think Marquez more deserving of respect.

  15. Hamilton has destroyed every teammate he’s ever had including Alonso incidentally. GR is getting more out of the car at the moment but it’s very strange to be trying to make that point just yet.

  16. Fact Check: Nico Rosberg beat Sir LouLou to the WC in 2016 with the same car.
Probably would have beat him in 2017.... if he had carried on.

  17. Oh you’re not serious? That’s the only one & he did it once & was gifted that year. No way is Rosberg even in the same league.
You can not like LH for whatever reason but give him the credit a 7 time (& robbed of the 8th) world champ deserves particularly when your argument is that he only won “all” of those titles because he was in the best car. So was Alonso, Button, Kovalainen, Bottas & probably others I’ve forgotten

  18. If Sir LouLou is not driving for Mercedes, how many championships does he have?
1 (2008) which is tainted due to Glock (controversially) letting Hamilton passed on the last corner. If Glock hadn't let Hamilton passed then Massa would win the World Championship.

LH beat only Bottas and in all honesty, I think I could beat Bottas.

  19. No point trying to reason with you fella, you’re nuts!

  20. Facts are the truth and can be hard to face up to for a Sir LouLou fanboy..
