I just printed off a colour photo of the Martini race rep And gave it to a lad I worked with in the trade for years I used to be a car painter for 23yrs ! There is some real clever stuff around these days. They've got a imaging camera thingy ! That looks at the colour & gives you the mixing formula As for the Contis they are Brilliant !!! They came as standard fitment on a BMW S1000rr I bought in 2010 And I was really impressed by the fast warm up & grip a nice stable turn in & super grip in the wet too Alway ran S corsas on my ducati's for years never been happy with them in damp / wet conditions. And would get thru a front in 1300 miles. Where as the Contis will do 2000/2300 miles I've ran them on my last 3 bikes ... 996 1098s & now the 1199 can't fault them. I think I read somewhere the California race bike school use them ???
Not Happy with the colour To orangey !!! Not the painters fault his colour match was bob on to the photo I supplied. So tyres off again !
Bloody hell, the pictures you took are in the evening sun sun, I cant tell. I've also got an St4 with original gold wheels, I have to admit that they are a more yellow or pale yellow shade of gold but personally I didn't mind the colour you had them. Your bike your choice tho. Ask your mate how much he'd want to paint someone else's wheels....er gold...not sure of the shade yet!
