Very nice! Mine was blue, but I had the tank repainted the same colour as yours. I'm just off on a ride down memory lane...
I had two... One in the early 80's. Then I bought the blue one in Colorado around '96. Repaired & renewed until everything perfect. Polished and cleaned it to within an inch of its life. Sold it in '99 for 4K. Fun to ride.
Nice old things to ride once set up properly which is far from easy, I bought brand new carbs for mine and it still wouldn' t run spot on although I have made some jetting and needle changes for when I one day get it going again, also drilled and tapped the manifolds so I could fit take offs for vacuum gauges so hopefully it will come back to life better than it was before. Just a good clean up and a few small jobs like speedo cable but seems there's always other more pressing things to get done.
Back to the original pic....absolutely fucking shocking...should slap a John Deere sticker on the side and plough some fields....
A retired mate has recently bought a 2020 DSG gearbox Wing, I rode it, don't want one but bloody good bike and narrower than a GS with metal boxes.
