Yeah, trickey to get the right impresion from a Youtube clip.. But this one I liked, this sounds more like a Ducati Quat D Magnum Carbon exhaust sound check : ) - YouTube
Thats got all baffles removed. Can't do that with mine I'm afraid as the wife bursts into tears. Again, it doesn't do it justice as in the flesh its staggeringly loud.
W/out the baffles they are as loud as f$ck. Like WWII Ack Ack guns. Sublime to listen to and really let the V-twin sing. All other pipes are pants. On overrun, chopping the throttle from 3rd or 2nd, nothing but nothing beats them and then there's the "on throttle" howl/roar". You will never ride without hearing protection again though...they are rather loud.
I put the baffles in to tour, out "for the weekends". The sound is epic. I used to have the MiVV and Termi set up. Pants compared to this.
Well thanks for all the info peeple, I've gone for the Termi, Quat D? i don't like the double barrel look (only personal taste guys). so when I take her for the first service( I'm working abroad at the mo) they'll be fitted. can't wait to get home, the weather will be better (no snow) hopefully and i'll have a whole month of to ride, ride, ride
Whatever you do, you have to remove the cat. Nothing beats a raw Duc. I went for the full Termis because of the pipework and fueling. Saves me going to Dyno. Also, always like the subtle styling.

Think the baffles are out on that clip....I wonder what they would sound like with only one of the pipes fitted with a baffle? Anyone tried this??.....I'm thinking not!
