430 is not my ideal time of the day either but luckily it's not everyday, so that should keep them confused I'll be as nice as I can, which is pretty nice, I think! (A nod now and again suits me) I suppose there's a chance they might like bikes, hopefully.
I tend to leave for work around 6:30AM - i cannot push it down the road and try to be quiet as will only wake some other poor bugger, they just have to get used to it , and its not everyday anyway, one of my other neighbours who has been there a while does not mind even when i was using then DESMO now thats loud on start and idle
the bloke opposite me wears beige sock with sandals and chino shorts. I want to feel guilty at 6:30... but I don't.
If anything I still feel guilty about the time I fell down the stairs now that made a right racket - left some nasty carpet burns to
weeks and so far not even mentioned the bike, unlike the others who wanted to know the inside and out of it You will be on your toes for a while seeing who is coming and going IE Associates of the new neighbours to make sure none of them take an extra long view at your bike , its natural i was the same
True, I'm not overly nosey but I'll have to keep an eye on them until they've passed the "bikesafe in my own garage test" Associates! You mean there could be more of them, now I'm getting paranoid and they haven't even moved in yet I've already ordered a bigger gate for the back garden, hope they don't think I'm antisocial, just like my own space
No No not more just well wishers, family and freinds who will be over making sure that have enough toasters and kettles
you were there first so carry on as normal. They are the ones that moved there so why should you change what you do? perhaps they should have come round at 4.30 in the morning "before" buying the place to make sure no one was starting up noisy bikes to go to work!
I've often left the house on my bikes at daft o'clock and there's no way I could leave without starting the bike up. To get out of the courtyard I live in I have to get up a steep bank (prolly a gradient of 25 degrees) and I have to rev the bike to get it up there to the main road.
