No you cannot just disconnect it or wedge it open. When turning on the servo operates and checks to see if it can open and close it fully. Any issues and it throws up a fault. When I fitted my de-cat (LeoVince), they supply a part, that replaces the cable end at the servo with a block of metal (sort of L-shapped) that mimics the correct level of movement. Once Chris at CJS has dones his magic I'll be able to remove the servo, it will save a bit of weight which means I can start dodging the salads again.
take off the cat remove the flap inside from the shaft leaving the outside workings on and refit. valve gone no issues with the cables. simples
Done it, thanks for that. Had to grind the bit of weld off the screws then no problem. Looking forward to a test run!
