  1. Why does the bike have a moustache?

  2. I'm currenty at WDW2024, so I'm guessing if they've released this info then there's no super secret squirrels viewing anymore. Not a lover of the design. Progress and all but it ain't a pretty incarnation. I think the DSSA will be as divisive as it was with the 999. That aside the fairings have gone a bit KTM and super angular so appear harsh and not flowing. I'm sure it will sell well. They always do.

  3. So a new V4 base model £24395 +.under tail exhaust for £7500 ........ oh and the belly pan to go with it in plastic for £750.... getting silly!

  6. Guess I'm out on a limb here but I think it's ugly and has lost the flowing lines and proportions that Italian bikes (and cars) are so well respected for. Bit of a "bangle"

  7. The sat nav and the cruise control are extras…. On a bike costing that much, most new bikes are coming with it now, Yamaha xsr900 gp, rs660, speed triple RS, bmw on the sport models, and those are £10k cheaper

  8. its stunning, the swing arm is amazing

however the front is missing something???

  9. Yeah I agree it’s pretty, I think much more so than the current one. I was playing around with the configurator, 3 different kinds of exhaust available, the full system has pipes up really high and close to the tail, and some slip on race pipes and there is what looks like a homologated lunch box version.

  10. I prefer it to the current version too. I always thought the current V4 was a bit bland.

  11. we all like different things, but for me the current one never sat well proportionate wise, the tank seemed too high and ‘hunchback’ and the rear was too short, then in 2020 when they put the newer style fairing on it just bloated out the front end and I don’t think it was pretty from the front anymore. Of that generation of bikes the Panigale V2 was the prettiest I think

  12. Not too keen on the gap around the front of the fairing and the wheel. Looks like a multistrada....

  13. Have to say, I do quite like it and as others have said it will sell regardless. Think its closer to the 1299 era which personally still think has been the nicest looking Pani out yet. Sadly the front of this looks a bit too close to the s1000, doesnt stand out as much as it should

The base price of a V4S is now 29,995 - I just paid a bit under 25 for a new 22my V4S few months ago. Guess the question for me was do I wish I had waited for the new one, dont think so at the moment, might change my mind when I see one though so not committed on that on just yet

  14. Be some discounts to be had on current model year now surely.

  15. New V4s is £30k, base is £24.5k. A new bim Msport is £22k. Wheres the value? Its not in finish quality or parts quality. I am done with these robbing bar stewards. Once i tire of my 1299S, I'll be off to BMW or Yamaha.

  16. I've just git an r1 for the track. Used it fir the first time at cadwell on Monday and Tuesday. Much prefer it to the v4 I had previously

  17. chop the moustache off it, retrofit a SSS and it'll be a pretty bike imho.

might have to play with the linkage ratio but I bet the single sided swingarm would go in ok

  18. people give the R1 a bit of a hard time, but aside from wooden brakes, I absolutely guarantee 90% people would be faster on an R1 than a V4, it’s just like a big 600, it’s approachable, its predictable and the electronics are great for a bike released 9 years ago!

  19. Mirrors on the new bike look a bit weird how they are fixed under the fairing rather than through it. Great to facilitate removal of them but look odd at first viewing.
    Screen looks brilliant.
