You clearly haven’t been following some the posts in the other Multistrada V4 threads. Along with the shit looks, lower horse power and torque, double sided swing arm, 19” front wheel and skinny rear tyre, the appalling petrol consumption makes it the worst bike Ducati have ever produced. Keep up dear boy Andy
Thank god harley and davidson have released a similar bike so we now have a comparable choice? I wouldn't be surprised if it is in the shops by the end of 2025, or mid 2030 tops! I think it is called the Trans America?
Read a good online review of the HD Pan Am/Trans America; hell yeh. As light as my GS, hydraulic tappets, bike auto lowering suspension when coming to a stop for the wee people, touch screen TFT, Showa & Brembo f/r dooda’s. Bummer is the 5000 mile service intervals. Plus only a face your mother could love. Price competitive too.
So maybe Ducati have been listening , shame they couldn't have come up with this in the first place, would have saved all those pages of forum arguments
Maybe they will make both sides of the engine the same colour too - and try and fix the side on look and make it more flowing on the panels - not like an abstract..
Same side colour! I think that's asking too much as it implies they have to look on both sides. For years, the only thing I asked for was an accurate speedometer and I'm still waiting for it.
It certainly does spec up well, esp the top model, apart from it being a bit lardy. But the only reviews I saw were basically just the endless spec and opinion reviews with no actual real world ride reviews. Unless you have a link?
No link for a real test ride; but interesting interview with key HD Pan Am development team. I'll try and send a link; if I can remember what site it was posted on.

Is funny listening to the harley engineers proudly announcing how they pioneered the stressed engine design, the 90 deg v twin engine and details like the cornering lights etc. To be honest the only thing they have done as a first, which I like the idea of, is the suspension dropping down when you stop. And that is only on the Special model. It does seem to have a bunch of electronic stuff as well which may be useful to some...
Here is your factory mandated safety equipment to be worn at all times when closer than 20ft from the bike
