The fueling has come in for a lot of criticism in every test i have read. How can they get something so important, so wrong?
My main go-anywhere bike is a TDM900. In fact I'm on my 2nd one now as they are brilliant and have a very loyal following. TDM owners have been working themselves up into a lather this year as the TDM was quietly dropped by Yamaha after 27 years. The expectation is that Yam are going to produce a new TDM with this triple motor and I, for one, can't wait.
Never buy the first batch of anything, most cars, bikes etc have their final development carried out by you, the customer. The 899 will also be full of minor clitches
