An awful lot of 748SPS Came in as parallel imports with Kph speedos The clock face is changed to MPH but the trip is still in kilometeres The only real way to tell is either ask Ducati or look in the engine.Ti rods and SPS cams. Its easy to make it look like one Cosmetically. Showa front Ohlins rear 50 mm half system and alloy subframe
Yeah that's my thought too. Probably best avoiding. The search goes on...I have seen a nice 996 local to me. But got loads of aftermarket shite on it. And I really want an older bike.. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/293076588354
Stick with what you are wanting which sounds like an unmessed with original bike. Not too easy to find sometimes but they do come up for sale, you've just got to keep your eyes and ears open.
