  1. Depends how low it is lol

  2. ;)Simples................ St4S for her and 899 for you?

  3. Paul, you more than welcome to take my '13 ZZR 1400 out for the day if its dry.The new one has moved the game on somewhat and soooo smooth. The new engine develops more torque from 3.500 RPM than my old '08 Blade made flat out and dynoed over 115 Ft Lbs and 198 BHP at the wheel. Its definetly "all day comfort" and this years version has Ohlins rear shock. Its effortly to ride and it dont matter what gear your in,it just goes, its also nice and low so no problems getting both feet down whilst stationary.

  4. Really heading that way Stu. Like the idea of effortless distance covering, and aiming at going some euro two up touring or weekends away next year

  5. I did the Spain and France thing last year with a buddy of mine on my VFR 800 and he on his Blackbird and it was just "Magical".I will be going to Scotland next year as its so scenic and friendly.

  6. All Bikes have their plus's and minus's I have done 7.5k since having my MS in like 8 months, including 4 trips to Ardenne, Luxemburg etc. and Spain, Pyrenees.
There are always other bikes we lust after till we have them, and sure my MS has points I would love to improve, but I find it very easy to cover huge miles on it with out even feeling it after or the day after.

  7. I don't need selling to keep the multi ;) I love it..just wont live when I drop it when the missus is clambering on board!! lol

  8. Bradders put it on the centre stand, let her get on, you get on, and then lung it forward so it rolls off centre stand :) (make sure it is in neutral, and you have the front brake ready, though it rolls off easy and just rolls forward

  9. i traded my multi for a 2015 z1000 sx , went to yorkshire last week and have to say very impressed , reason i got rid of multi was touching down with short legs and with my son on our euro trip it highlighted the problem more , I've put a sergeant seat on the sx and some akros and find it does everything the multi does

  10. friends of ours who are not as tall as me, with MTS on side stand, wife gets on first and shuffles back, husband gets on board and off they go.

  11. Guzzi Griso or some other Guzzi.
I really enjoyed riding one. No, it's not the fastest thing on the planet but who cares? Proper seat, and proper fun.

  12. Sounds like fun...

  13. Tempted to try the stand thing, sometime do that myself but still the risk of it toppling the side I don't have a foot down

  14. Bradders.....revisit the 70's and get yourself some platform boots. Job done... lol.

  15. if going 2-up over long distance, I really can't recommend the K13S and I don't think the ZZR14 is any better. Probably worse in fact. There are much better bikes than either of those for touring 2-up. Outright speed/power is inconsequential when riding with a pillion as you'll generally be riding alot slower than you would when hooning solo. There is a write up on PH about the K13S as a pillion tourer... Proper Sports Tourers and the K1300S - PistonHeads

  16. Trouble is 90% will be solo hooning. Not sure how those long bikes like to wheelie ;) lol

  17. Bradders I roll off the stand all the time, sitting on it, it is not different to you stopping somewhere and having to put your foot down, it rolls off easy, and just rolls forward a little, I do it in petrol stations if I want to fill up as much as poss, put it on centre stand fill up and jump on and roll off, it really is easy and safe, momentum is always forward and upright

  18. Just to clarify when I roll it off, I do it with body weight with feet on pegs, just go easy at first if not roll off, just shove forward a little harder it is a fine balance and very easy to just push it slowly over the point on the centre stand so the bike will roll in slow motion forward and you put foot down, it is always perfectly upright as motion is always forward

  19. I can assure you that they wheelie beautifully :)

  20. The Tornado makes an excellent road-bike. Not as light or grunty as the 999 but it's got it's own unique charm and a stonking motor which sounds rough at idle but is actually really sweet. And EVERYWHERE you go people stop and look and want to ask you all about it...
