  11. If anyone is thinking of getting some new gloves for the season then you must checkout Five Gloves. I tried some on at Snell's on Saturday - RFX 1s, they are very comfortable and have some really nice detailing.

Thanks to Motogear UK for supplying me with these in 2015!

  13. Hey Nicky, hope you are well. I was going to tweet but I'll post up here instead.

I'm in for this season ;-) My bike is straight out of the showroom and I've not even started on it yet. Any top tips for prepping it?

First task is to fit the termi and get the up-map done along with any electrickery that needs doing to sort the ABS out. Guessing you disconnected the ABS box totally and run the brake lines straight from the master cylinders.

Scrawn #17 - The balance of power has shifted. Collected a new...

  14. Thank you @Pikespete - MUCH APPRECIATED!

  15. Hello, which dealer did you get your bike from? I got mine from Snells - they have been very helpful with advice etc.

Regards the ABS, the unit has to stay in place and connected (otherwise you'll get a fault on the dash). I swapped out the standard lines with Hel Performance ones - Shaun at Hel is a helpful guy to talk to.

See you at NG brands in March?

  16. Got the bike from Laguna as the team I'm riding with are backed by them. I just figured any little tricks that make life easier will have been discovered by the riders themselves.

I've got my Hel lines already to go on.

I'm taking it in the studio tomorrow to shoot the "before" bike then once it's all prepped and painted I'll do the same again.

I may well be at Brands to give it a run out. Always cold and wet so will be a good test for wet set up ;-)

  17. What team are you with?

It's going to be a competitive year! Should be good.

  18. check the rules fell;a before you go making any fuelling changes. Not sure if its still only piggy-back systems or you can map the ecu direct

  19. Only power commanders (piggy back systems) allowed @bradders - the regs are heavy on ECU fiddling after last year.
