Was good to see Nicky making progress today, the forum sponsorship, while not a huge amount makes a big difference to watching the racing knowing you have even a small involvement in support. I'd encourage anyone who hasn't donated something to do so, if you go and see the racing, it is great seeing a bike out there the forum have a connection with.
Over the moon with 7th race 1! Just goes to show if you keep pushing and keep the faith you'll make progress. I really had to fight for that one, manging to take 7th by 2000th of a second across the line! Thanks to the member for your support! Don't forget to find me in the paddock to say hello!
Congrats! I'm heading down tomorrow morning, had planned to be there today but a combination of bike repairs and weather conspired against me! Good luck for race 2 and will hopefully catch you in the paddock somewhere
Well done Nicky Must be those sleepless nights you`ve been having!!!!!! Seriously well done and lets hope the progress continues.
Tough race today but I think I actually rode a better race in the end. The pace was hot, a second inside my time from yesterday was only good enough for 13th. Had the pace for another top 10 but wasn't aggressive enough in the opening two laps. Then when I caught them I made a couple of mistake and so was just playing chatch up. Still, love drifting out of Hawthorns on the side of the tyre, tapped in 4th!!
So who saw the action at the weekend? - Couldn't have been better weather for it, hey? Hobbs hones in with TriOptions Cup victory
I watched it. Very spread out field. 899's seemed to have the edge on the 848's. Great noise. Looks ace fun.
I was there with my 2 boys what an excellent day. Rain at the end of the made things interesting for the 2nd bsb race. Enjoyed the pit walk and saw all the dukes as they headed back to the paddock.
Had a good day both Saturday and Sunday. Slight weather challenges made the second BSB race interesting as said above. Great seeing Nicky make progress.
It was tight and close battle where I was sitting! - Think I was in the best of the battles in both races. After finishing 7th on Saturday by just 2000th of a second, I thought I'd play it safe in race 2 with a gap of 800th of a second! :Nailbiting:
