The double standards amuse me. Most of her accusers will have used, as will the clerks, lawyers etc. Everyone has more or less these days. Besides Cocaine is seriously overrated and overpriced. Frankly, if used responsibly, its no different to beer or wine. Its not as if she mugged an old lady for her pension and then spunked it on coke is it? Not like her abusive violent other half whom during his career as an Ad man pushed all kinds of shit onto consumers. She is not my favourite lady and I have no regard for her shows, but I sympathise with her being portrayed as some evil druggie. Shes just a normal person who has used some time in the past. Like many many others. I smoke hash responsibly and moderately and fuck you who try to tell me what I can and cant do. I dont drink. Am I ashamed? Nope. I know when and when not to and more importantly how much is enough. Fucking Saatchi is just a wife beater but he has skilfully manipulated, via his media chums, all the attention onto her.

The evil thing about this, I feel, is that Saatchi will have ruined her career. You think the Beeb are going to employ someone who admits to using cocaine? No one will ever know the truth, but the old "no smoke without fire" will do for her. And I think that's a pity. Her shows are entertaining and easy on the eye. It just looks like vindictiveness on the part of Saatchi. Of course, you can't know if he wasn't totally exasperated with her, or if she is very high maintenance, seeing as we don't know her personally. But if Saatchi was a gentleman, whatever she was up to, or however annoying she was, he wouldn't have hung her out to dry in public. It's just not done, what?
Nigella's a big enough character in her own right to put all this behind her, and who honestly believes the media these days anyway? What will see her off is age; she's based her shows on sex appeal, and that has a shelf life. She's getting to her 'best before' date...
Individuals on here know the law , (you know who you are ;0 ) so you can explain to me how she can admit to taking a banned substance in court (truth whole truth me lud ) and not be investigated and booked Danno. It may of course mean she has to be strip searched and beaten about the --- oooh me lud.

People get prosecuted for buying, selling or possessing specific illegal drugs on specific occasions, with dates and addresses. Nobody could be prosecuted for merely saying that they had had some illegal drug on some unspecified occasion long ago.
