I have an XD that I upgraded with a Nitron shock shortly after my last post. TLDR: I found the Nitron shock transformed my XD’s ride quality and handling. • The standard shock copes poorly with bumpy roads. A professional suspension setup mitigates it slightly but not enough. • The Nitron shock makes a huge difference to the XD’s handling and ride quality—it’s well worth it. • I’d expect a Nitron-approved supplier should offer to do your suspension setup; it’s worth asking or travelling for this service.
