No Bsb Or Wsbk On Eurosport For 2025

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Phill748, Jan 28, 2025.

  1. I've just checked and our Quest is HD.
And I'm actually just watching the highlights of the Quins/Northampton game from the weekend on TNT3. Gloucester V Tigers is on next.
Although after asking Lady Nasher I've been informed we also subscribed a few years ago to Sky Documentary channels, which sort of makes sense.
We don't actually watch a lot of Telly, but @80% of the time it gravitates to Quest or Dave anyway.

We don't have any choice by the way, for us it's a Sky dish or nothing.
We don't have cable down the road, and the broadband comes in the house via 34yr old copper cable, so we can't do normal things like live stream a movie to watch.

    .

  2. I have TNT as part of my Virgin media TV package

  3. Isn't anyone considering the WorldSBK VideoPass? It is 70 Euros for the 2025 season.

I get MotoGP with the MotoGP videopass and I think it's great but I can't say if WSBK is the same.

We've got 3 weeks to figure it out.

  5. Does it allow you to stream from say a PC to the TV?

  6. Wow this is getting silly now, will need a subscription to sneeze at this rate

  8. This is my issue with subscribing, my telly doesn’t have wsb app and I don’t want to watch on a laptop.

  9. Connect laptop to TV using HDMI cable?

  10. Or maybe a Firestick would work

  11. ...or Chromecast...

  12. I see moto gp dot com are charging 25 euros for test coverage, or free if you subscribe and attempt to cancel the automatic subscription for the princely sum of 210 euros per annum.

  13. Many apps, eg Sky, BT, do (or can) restrict casting so you can’t guarantee you can stream via big screen

  14. You can get the Quest channels on free sat ,box is about £200 ,but there are a lot of channels on there ,plus you can stream programs like ITV4 etc .

  15. The motogp videopass is an app (a good app) but I have just learned the WSB videopass is browser only. That won't stop me, my TV has a builtin browser that plays videos on WorldSBK.com just fine, but if you specifically want to view on a PC and stream to your TV then that will depend on what casting hardware you have.
An HDMI cable has been already suggested.

I have used the MotoGP VideoPass for a few years and it is great. However, this year will be my first using the WSBk version so I can't wholeheartedly endorse it. :upyeah:

  16. It's 200 Euros, £169 on my bank statement (MotoGP)

  17. Been using VideoPass for MotoGP for a few years now. Can cast to my TV, watch on my mobile/tablet /PC or via Amazon Firestick if I'm away from home. I get BSB/WSB through Discovery+, (since TNT Sports is hosted through them) via my Amazon Prime account. It's pretty much the only live streaming route to view it, unless you take out a direct subscription with TNT. Getting beyond ridiculous now. A few years ago it cost me fiver a month to view MotoGP as a BTSport "add on" to my BT phone contract. Those days have long gone. I don't watch the TNT MotoGP coverage anymore, though the combo of Suzi Perry, Neil Hodgson and Michael Laverty are well versed and bring plenty of experience to the commentary box.

  18. Do you watch that through a laptop or can you get it onto your tv somehow?

  19. I watch it on my TV via my NVidia Shield, if that's gone walkies then I get the Fire Stick out. I use a laptop when away from home as the app is not geo fenced, I've used it in a few countries in Europe. Plenty of options.
