  2. Its where I'm happiest as a mobile chicane ........

  3. Is the track open on Sunday 18th?

I looked at the NoLimits website last night and could only find a trackday on the 19th.

I'll be along on the 18th if it's going ahead.

    Thanks,
    Ian

  4. hope so, we are getting there Sat night for Sun run!! lol

  5. I'm off to see the mighty West Ham on Saturday.

If I'm still fit on Sunday I'm going to ride down to Snetterton, to meet some of my heroes !

  6. Look for the guy with a red Ducati ;-)

  7. I don't want to come in..............I'm just coming for a laugh, sorry, coming to watch......

  8. Not long now :upyeah:

  9. Hmmm, cant believe its me and bradders only in the power group :frown:

  10. corrected

  11. Nor can I..most of this lot have more track experience than both of us...got some used Metzler slicks today so hoping that will sort me for two days. Get ready for the sun!

  12. Bradders

Track time doesn't mean quick, I have hours of track time, am now running slicks on triggers broom and would still be a mobile chicane in the fast group, have done levels 1-4 of CSS and thats made me more competent and quicker, just not quick in the real world scheme of things .......

I just enjoy being out there, and for me the most enjoyment is mixing it in the Inters rather than being a liability in Fast, I think thats how most of our lot see it, could a few go to the Fast, of course, but trackdays are about where you can have the most fun and for us that has levelled out in Inters, we all know eachother, know the pecking order and know eachothers riding styles, on euro trips we often represent up to 25% of the group we are in and that keeps it all in control and nice and easy for the organisers, we don't have any big egos or divas, just pretty bikes (some) and adult riders (most).

We'll be sure to stand on the pit wall for a demo on how it should be done :)

  13. Ha I'm not fast so wont be demo from here :)

I find inters is so mixed but advanced they just pass and clear off. I may see if I can drop back though as its no fun on your own, see how it goes new big power bike and all that, prob end in novice ;-)

Plus if you all moved at same time you'd half fill the group anyway! Lol

  14. I will be in the fast group Sunday only, so thats at least 2.

  15. As the grouping is down to the individuals perceived ability rather than actual ability, it doesnt really mean that much.
I also like to consider the craic during the down time between sessions, if we are all in different groups then you miss out.

  16. Which is another reason I may look to change. The point of trackdays for me is the banter, piss taking and general foolery that goes on before, during and after. In fact thats my main reason for riding bikes generally

  17. I'm only coming for that anyway, b*gger riding round the track as well..........
