Happened to my 1199 last week. Exactly same. It was the connector that was partially burnt. Do not just unplug and plug back. Change the connector.
Did you ever get this solved? This exact thing happen to me last night in my 2014/899! Went for a ride with some buddies, stopped to fill up, tuned the key and nothing! Dead as a door nail! Had “wegenwacht” out they tested the battery and that was fine!
